Drew Doscher is a finance professional with over 30 years of experience on Wall Street. He is recognized for his expertise in distressed debt and the credit market. Throughout his career, Drew has worked with leading firms such as Lehman Brothers, UBS, Barclays, and Jefferies. He has shown a unique ability to help smaller companies grow into successful businesses, turning challenges into opportunities.

Drew was born and raised in Stuyvesant Town, New York. Initially, he planned to pursue a career in law enforcement, but after graduating from the College of Holy Cross in 1991, he entered the financial industry by chance. His first position was in the back office of a financial firm, but he soon transitioned to the trading floor. Drew began his career at Oppenheimer & Co., where he was mentored by Jon Bauer, a respected figure in the industry who introduced him to the distressed bond and loan markets. In 1995, Drew joined Lehman Brothers, working under Tom Bernard, a leader known for his strong business approach.

In 2001, Drew moved to UBS, where he was tasked with building a global distressed trading business. This was a new area for the company in the U.S. and Europe. Working directly under Robert Wolf, Drew succeeded in positioning UBS as a key player in the distressed markets.

Drew’s next role came in 2006 when he joined Barclays, working under Bob Diamond. As a Managing Director, Drew helped build a global distressed debt business in both the U.S. and Europe, strengthening Barclays’ position in the financial market.

After the financial crisis of 2009, Drew saw an opportunity at Seaport Group, a much smaller firm with only 40 employees. He was crucial in transforming Seaport into Seaport Global, a full-service financial company. Drew expanded the business into Europe and grew the team to over 100 people. Under his leadership, the firm’s revenue increased from under $25 million to $125 million.

Drew’s success at Seaport led to Jefferies, where he helped rebuild the firm’s reputation after a scandal. Later, Drew built a credit business at BTIG and expanded StoneX into new markets.

His integrity and leadership mark drew Doscher’s career. Known as the “honest guy in a dishonest business,” he has always prioritized transparency and direct advice. His contributions continue to impact the finance industry and his community.
